Pantja Pramudya

As an interdisciplinary scholar, he explores the complex intersections of governance, politics, public policy, sustainable development, and heterodox economics. His research journey encompasses a wide range of topics, from advocating for fair wages in Indonesia's tea and footwear sectors to investigating innovative financing and business strategies for sustainable commodities like palm oil, rubber, coconut, tea, and rice, as well as promoting a just transition to clean energy. His roles are multifaceted, including team leadership, research, advisory, academic, and project evaluation responsibilities. As a founder and senior researcher at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (Inrise), he works with prominent research institutions to tackle urgent global issues. In addition to his research endeavors, he shares his knowledge by teaching macroeconomics at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya in Indonesia. His wealth of experience and expertise has been cultivated through years of academic study, culminating in a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands, an M.Sc. in Economics (Political Economy of Development) from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, and an M.M. in International Management from PPM Graduate School of Management in Indonesia.
