This report updates the Anker Living Income Reference Value for rural Argentina to June 2024. This update takes into account the accumulated inflation from June 2020, the date of the original study2, to June 2024, which is calculated at 1,872.74%. The updated living income for June 2024 for rural Argentina is ARS 986,825. Without accounting for inflation, the living income for 2020, estimated at ARS 50,023, would not be sufficient for families to have a basic but decent standard of living in 2024, because the purchasing power of the living income would have significantly decreased.
