Daniel Alvarado Abarca

Daniel José Alvarado Abarca, who has an MA in Public Administration and a Bachelor's and a Licentiate degree in Political Science and Sociology. He serves as a researcher at the Institute for Social Research and as a lecturer at the School of Political Science at the University of Costa Rica. He has a background in public policy, social policy, living income, migration, and extensive experience in research, and has undertaken independent research projects for various international organizations.

Daniel has been involved in collaborative projects with the Anker Research Network, participating in two foundational studies on living wages in the Dominican Republic and one in Costa Rica, and has supported towards the development of a database comprising multiple living wage studies.
